Looking for a creative experience that's a little different? Join us for a relaxed Cement & Sip Workshop at the McKenzie & Sage studio in Margate, where you'll create your own beautiful handcrafted cement decor while enjoying a fun social atmosphere.

  • Will be ready 3 days after your workshop - Air drying, sanding and varnishing will happen in this time.

Workshop Details -

• Price - $69 Per Person
• Duration - Approximately 2 hours
• Location - McKenzie & Sage Studio, 38 Windsor Street, Margate, QLD, 4019. 
  • Parking - Is available on the street, please do not park in driveway.

What To Bring -

Simply bring yourself and your favourite drink if you'd like to enjoy a glass while you create. We'll provide the glassware. 

Booking Information -

Places are limited to keep classes intimate and enjoyable, bookings are essential. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, to allow for traffic etc. If you are running late please call Karla 0411835724.

We only offer cancellation refunds 48 hours prior to the event.

Frequently Asked Questions - 

Do I Need Experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are beginner friendly, and Karla {The Sand Wax Lady} will guide you through every step.

When Will My Creation Be Ready To Take Home?

Three days after your cement has been poured you may take your creation home. It will be sanded and then waterproofed or varnished. You can pick up from the McKenzie & Sage Studio in Margate or have it shipped to you at your own cost.

What Should I Wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes. Aprons are provided, but cement can be messy!

How Many People Does Workshop Hold?

We can have up to 10 people.

Do You Offer Private Workshops?

Yes! We cater for Birthdays, hen's parties, bridal showers, mother's groups. kid's parites, corporate team building.

Will My Piece Look Like The Photos?

Every creation is handmade, so each piece will have it's own unique character, that's part of the fun!
